About our Church                             

Franklin Christian Church is a fellowship of Christians committed by faith to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  We confess Him alone as the sovereign head of the church.  Our only authoritative guide in matters of faith, teaching and practice is the Bible, the Word of God.  We seek to follow Biblical patterns in all our practices as a church.  In keeping with the apostolic practice, we have the Lord’s Supper (Communion) every first day of the week.  (Acts 20:7)  We choose Elders (Acts 14:23) and deacons (1Timothy 3:8-12) from among our eligible membership, who serve our congregation.  We acknowledge Christ as Lord and seek to obey Him in all things.
